If you wish to have your screener preview returned, please enclose US postal paid envelope with this entry form. The film entrant declares that he/she is empowered to lend the print of the film now entered and commits to refrain from withdrawing the film from the Festival. The entrant further commits to, and agrees with, the following:
a) No entry shall have been screened commercially or released in video format or available on the internet prior to the Festival dates (exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Festival),
b) The print must be sent in the format so indicated,
c) Entrants must cover the expenses related to transportation of the documentation, DVD
or preview tapes and, later, the 35mm or 16mm print, to the Festival (indicates “No Commercial Value”) and BIFF will cover the expenses related to the return of the film print,
d) Extracts of the selected film may be broadcast on television and/or radio for promotional purposes only.
e) All DVD or other preview format in the possession of the Festival may be available during the Festival only at an exclusive viewing stand for participants.
DEADLINES FOR SELECTED FILMS
All exhibition prints and digital files must be received by March 27, 2015 for selected films, The entry of a film to the Boston International Film Festival signifies an acceptance of the regulations and statements provided with and in this form.
1. I have read, understood and complied with all eligibility requirements of the categories for which I would like this film to be considered;
2. To the best of my knowledge, all the statements in this document are true;
3. This film is not subject to litigation nor is threatened by any litigation;
4. I am duly authorized, on my own behalf and on behalf of an other person or entity who has any ownership rights in the film, to submit this film to the Festival and I represent that this submission will not violate any law or any right of any person or entity;
5. I hold the Boston International Film Festival and their affiliated and related entities, harmless from (a) any damage to or loss of the print of the film or any other material submitted by me hereunder en route to or from the Festival or otherwise during the course of the Festival’s possession of the film and (b) any breach of any of the foregoing certifications.
