In “The Unknown” We follow the life of Boston
actor, Lou Monte, as he struggles to make it
through the crazy, amusing world of the
entertainment industry. Lou Monte played by
Christopher Tranchina, a 30 something year
old Boston actor who drives to NYC on a
weekly basis trying to ‘make it ‘in the
entertainment Industry.' We follow his
humorous journey into the gritty, true to life,
reality of the continuing to believe in yourself
against all odds. Lou’s struggle makes us
examine, 'What is our breaking point?' 'When

Why Am I Doing this?           120min

TONY CHANG is a struggling Asian-American
actor with the classic problem of only getting
auditions for parts as Chinese delivery boys.
Tony works multiple jobs to pay the bills, one
of them being Spider-Man for kids’ parties,
where he falls for a girl in a Care Bear
costume and tries to date her. Tony also
learns he needs to reach back out to his
younger brother, DANNY, an Asian hip-hop
thug who street races on weekends while
dropping out of college. Tony also hangs out
with hot wanna-be actress AMBER, who pretty
much just uses him for his car and beer
money. Tony’s best friend, LESTER NILES, is
a struggling African-American comedian who’
s trying to make it doing comedy showcases
while working a day job as one of the most
hated men in Los Angeles… a meter maid.
His stand-up is purely Jon Stewart-
observational, but it seems like everyone in
the industry, including his half-brother and
manager KENNY, want him to be the next
Martin Lawrence. In addition, he has to deal
with his clinically depressed, attractive model
Mom, who’s divorcing his tired Dad. Lester is
also madly in love with beautiful Indian-
American NIRA, who seems to like him a lot,
but not enough to give him a chance at
boyfriend-hood. Together, Tony and Lester
support each other in their fight to keep the
Hollywood dream alive while juggling inter-
racial relationships, family and the impending
feeling of doom that they¹re never going to
make it...
